This is an excellent way to help children comprehend books better and do activities that will make them excited to read. I ended my project with a “tool box” to allow others to experience a part of my project. They are filled with activities from my program to allow other children the ability to try these activities. I contacted three elementary schools at the end of the previous school year to donate books they no longer use. I got over 400 books that helped me make over 20 tool boxes to be passed out in the Denver Metro Area.

*If you laminate these activities, they will last longer
My hope is that these tool boxes give children activities to focus on gaining comprehension skills and interest in reading.
